Entrepreneurship education plays an essential role in providing early exposure to integrate the field of entrepreneurship with other fields of study. This is to ensure that foundation graduates are competent in the university's entrepreneurial ecosystem and capable to drive the national economy regardless of the field they pursue after completing their first degree at UMK.
The huffaz group has a special position due to their advantages, abilities and sacrifices in memorising Al-Quran al-Karim. Their togetherness with Al-Quran makes it easier for them to understand and practice professional knowledge in all fields.
All programmes offered at the Centre for Foundation Studies, Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK-AsCent) are preparatory studies with a feeder concept to qualify them to become undergraduate students at UMK. This is a strategic action by the University to ensure that the issue of quantity and quality of undergraduate students at UMK can be addressed and further help UMK become the world's leading Entrepreneurial University in the future.
